Employee Assistance Program

As we move into the heart of the winter season and begin the Spring semester, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) would like to remind you that EAP services are available to assist employees and their family members. During this time of the year, it is common for many individuals to experience depression and anxiety. The EAP is available to provide short term counseling and the other services to individuals experiencing depression and other personal challenges that may affect their work performance as well as their overall well-being. These are just some examples of other challenges that may be affecting employees, substance abuse, relationship conflicts, domestic violence, work place stress, mental health issues and elderly care. EAP is a free service open to all employees and their family members on a confidential basis.

During this semester, TCNJ’s EAP is offering a support group to assist individuals who have a family member or friend that is struggling with substance abuse. If you are interested in learning more about this support group or other support groups of interest, please contact the Assistant Director, Bob Watts at extension 2139. The EAP may be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week at   eap@tcnj.edu   or at 609.771.2139. After business hours an EAP counselor may be contacted at 609.571.0677. All calls will be returned within 24 hours. Additional information regarding the EAP may be found at  http://eap.pages.tcnj.edu/
